Matthew Jarrett Lee, a 30-year-old African American male from Austin, Texas, tragically lost his life on September 23, 2019. The incident occurred at the Galewood Gardens Apartments in North Austin, where he was found with gunshot wounds in the apartment complex's parking lot. Despite the efforts of a good Samaritan who attempted life-saving measures, Lee was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 1 a.m.
