In the winter of 1998, a violent incident in Knoxville, Tennessee, claimed the lives of two young men, leaving a case that remains unsolved decades later. On the night of January 24th, 25-year-old Emanuel Oliver Wykle was in the vicinity of the Club Royal on McCalla Avenue. Accompanying him was 22-year-old Phillip Delantia Wilkerson Jr. The night took a tragic turn when both men were shot.
