In the early evening of March 15, 2014, Justin Tyler Roake, a 21-year-old male, was driving on Ellington Parkway in Nashville, Tennessee, when his life was tragically cut short. Unbeknownst to him, a dark-colored SUV was closing in, and from within it, shots were fired, striking Roake in the head and causing his vehicle to crash. The brazen act of violence on the busy parkway marked the beginning of a lengthy investigation to bring those responsible to justice.
