Braxton Cooper, a 22-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on February 3, 2021. He was fatally shot inside his car during a botched gun sale at Berkshire Place Apartments in East Nashville. Cooper had arranged to purchase a handgun from a 17-year-old boy named Dewaun White through an online ad. When they met in the parking lot, an altercation ensued, and White shot Cooper during the transaction.
Following the incident, White was arrested and charged with murder.
