On a tragic evening in Nashville, Tennessee, a young man's life was cut short in a senseless act of violence that began with a transaction on Facebook Marketplace. Christopher Brandon McCabe, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on April 5, 2022, near the entrance of the Nashville International Airport. McCabe, a resident of Gallatin, had arranged to trade his BMW sedan for a Dodge Charger earlier in the week. The situation turned deadly when the BMW he had traded broke down on Donelson Pike.
