Bruce Whitmore Jr., a 29-year-old male from Memphis, TN, tragically died on April 15, 2014, after being shot twice in the 2100 block of Clayton. The incident led to a legal case against Vintonii Chase, who was 21 years old at the time of the shooting. Chase was arrested on April 23, 2014, and charged with first-degree murder and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
