In the late summer of 2021, the life of Martavious Desheon Calhoun, a 22-year-old African American man from Memphis, Tennessee, was brought to a tragic and abrupt end. On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, events unfolded that stemmed from a complicated and ultimately fatal love triangle.
