In the summer of 2014, a birthday celebration at a private venue near the Tennessee-Kentucky state line took a tragic turn, ending the life of 23-year-old Ralphthaniel Magee. On the night of June 22nd, a fight erupted inside the party, known as 'Big D's Birthday Bash,' and spilled out into the open, where the sounds of gunshots pierced the air. In the ensuing chaos, Magee was fatally wounded. Two women were also injured, grazed by bullets during the altercation.
