In the small town of Lobelville, Tennessee, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of a dedicated family man and respected military veteran. Michael W. Braden, a 45-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot on July 9, 2014, inside the National Guard armory where he worked. A Sergeant First Class in the Tennessee Army National Guard, Braden was a 27-year veteran of the armed forces, having served two tours in Kuwait.
