On July 25, 1993, a tragic incident occurred in the 1400 block of SE Belmont in Portland, Oregon, resulting in the death of Thang Thi Nguyen, also known to her neighbors as “Lilly.” Nguyen, a 46-year-old woman, was the owner of a video rental store located at 1403 SE Belmont.
