On the evening of March 1, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Derossett Loop in Sparta, Tennessee. The victim, 66-year-old John Thomas Clouse, was shot and killed during a confrontation at the home. Authorities identified the shooter as 64-year-old Osie Nash Jr., an acquaintance of Clouse.
