In the winter of 2022, the life of 28-year-old Robert McGowan was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in South Memphis. On the evening of Monday, December 5th, officers from the Memphis Police Department were called to the scene of a shooting where they found McGowan suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
