Death by Force

In the early hours of July 31, 2023, Memphis police responded to a shooting incident on Manson Road. A witness reported that during an argument, Charles Mitchell was shot by an individual who then placed Mitchell's body into a truck and fled the scene.

Approximately five hours later, officers discovered Mitchell's body on the side of the road near Melwood and Bonwood, with a fatal gunshot wound.
