In the late afternoon of a rainy Tuesday on September 2, 2014, the body of Kevin Alan-Ross Summers, a 27-year-old male, was discovered in Travis Price Park in Springfield, Tennessee. Officers were dispatched to the park around 3:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a male lying on the ground bleeding. Upon arrival, they found Summers next to his vehicle, having sustained an apparent gunshot wound. At the time he was found, Summers appeared to be dressed in soccer apparel.
