In the autumn of 2014, the life of a young Nashville man was violently cut short in what police believe was a home invasion robbery gone wrong. Nathaniel Arness Moore, a 25-year-old African American male, was at a friend's residence on Briarwood Drive on the evening of September 23rd when the fatal incident unfolded.
According to investigators, three masked individuals forced their way into the home. In the ensuing chaos, Moore was shot in the head. He was rushed to Vanderbilt University
