In the summer of 2008, a visit to friends in Nashville, Tennessee, turned tragic for Ricky Vincent Hanlon. A 50-year-old Caucasian male from the nearby city of Smyrna, he was at a residence located at 3219 Torbett Avenue on the evening of Thursday, July 31st. While spending time at the house, Hanlon was fatally shot multiple times.
The discovery of what had transpired was made by a friend who had been present earlier. This individual had left the residence to give another man a ride home.
