In the early morning hours of June 12, 2016, the life of 22-year-old Jerica Shavon Jackson, a female from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call of shots fired around 3:30 a.m., Chattanooga Police discovered Jackson inside a white SUV on the 4600 block of Trailwood Drive; she had been fatally shot. Investigators from the Violent Crimes Bureau immediately began looking into the circumstances surrounding her death.
