In the summer of 2016, a tragedy unfolded in the small community of Buchanan, Tennessee, leaving family and friends to mourn the loss of Stephanie Renee Boyd. A 47-year-old White female, Stephanie was a familiar and friendly face to many, known for her work as a lab technician at the Henry County Medical Center and as a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. Her life was abruptly cut short on July 28, 2016, in an event that would be ruled a murder-suicide.
