Evelyn Whitson Bailey, a 93-year-old woman from Erwin, Tennessee, passed away on September 22, 2018. She was a native of Yancey County and the daughter of the late Noah and Texanna Bennett Johnson. Evelyn spent her career as a shirt inspector in a garment factory and enjoyed flowers and sewing in her spare time.
