In the early morning hours of a late September day in Knoxville, Tennessee, the life of 21-year-old Antwon Young was cut short. On September 29, 2016, police responded to a call at the Townview Towers apartments, a residential building located at 1100 Lula Powell Drive. Inside one of the apartments, they made a grim discovery; Young was deceased, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The young man's sudden and violent death sent ripples of shock and grief through his community.
