On the evening of September 15, 2009, Christopher Lynn McBath, a 26-year-old African American male, was sitting on a porch on Better Tomorrow Drive in the Western Heights neighborhood of Knoxville, Tennessee. What should have been a peaceful evening turned tragic when he was fatally shot.
