In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, a Knoxville family was forever changed by an act of violence that claimed the life of 30-year-old Alonzo Mackcell Rodgers. On the evening of November 24, 2021, officers from the Knoxville Police Department responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on Nichols Avenue.
