In the summer of 1980, the quiet life of a Knoxville resident was brought to a violent and mysterious end. On June 11th, 69-year-old James Floyd Fox, Sr. was discovered deceased inside his home on Dick Ford Lane. He was found lying on the floor of his dining room, having been shot multiple times. The scene suggested a robbery had taken place, as his billfold, money, and two firearms were missing from the residence.
