Marquis Anthony Nolan, a 23-year-old African American male from Knoxville, TN, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2021. Marquis was shot and killed at the Mag Lounge on E. Magnolia Avenue along with his friend Jonah Caldwell, 25. Both victims were Austin-East High School graduates and were at the same location when the incident occurred. The Knoxville Police Department responded to the scene and found Marquis at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
