Jeffery Clark Evans, a 61-year-old African American man from Knoxville, TN, tragically passed away on February 20, 2022. He was fatally shot at The Vista Apartments on Hall of Fame Drive in Knoxville. According to police reports, Evans was involved in a physical altercation with a suspect, during which he sustained a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
