Lester Charles Ott, a 56-year-old male, was tragically killed on Saturday, November 10, 2018, in what authorities have described as a home invasion in Knoxville, Tennessee. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ott was at his residence with his son, Matthew, when suspects broke into their home.

The incident escalated quickly, and in an act of defense for his family, Lester Ott armed himself. He was subsequently shot five times and died at the scene, with his son witnessing the fatal encounter. The ...
