On a summer day in 1992, the quiet of a remote area of North Knox County was broken by a grim discovery. On June 14, Charles E. Sack McGhee, a 47-year-old white male, was found deceased in his older model red and white Chevrolet pick-up truck. He had been fatally wounded by gunshots to his head and neck.
