In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Knoxville, Tennessee, a domestic disturbance call set in motion a chain of events that would end in tragedy. On October 1, 2023, Knox County Sheriff's Office Deputy Tucker Blakely, a 29-year-old male, and his partner, Deputy James Loft, arrived at a residence on Denver Lane to a volatile scene. Inside the home, Matthew Logan Rose was in the master bedroom, and as the deputies entered the room, an exchange of gunfire erupted.
