Doris Campbell Beets, a 67-year-old retired teacher from Farragut Intermediate School, and her husband Boyd Michael Beets, also 67, were tragically killed on March 21, 2020, at their home in West Knox County, Knoxville, TN. The couple was known for their kindness and active involvement in their community, including their church, First Baptist Concord. They were planning a trip to Israel with their church, a dream they unfortunately never got to fulfill.
