In the summer of 1998, the life of a young man was cut short in Knoxville, Tennessee, leaving a community unsettled and a family searching for answers. On July 15th of that year, the body of 19-year-old James Evans Jr. was discovered on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. He had been shot multiple times.
