Ryan Anthony McDonald, a 15-year-old sophomore at Central High School in Knoxville, TN, was tragically shot and killed on August 21, 2008. Ryan, who was white, was known for his tough exterior, which he developed to cope with teasing due to alopecia, a condition that caused him to be completely hairless. Despite this, Ryan was described as a kindhearted teenager who cared deeply for his friends and family.
