Zacharia Nahimana, a 21-year-old male of Tanzanian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on June 9, 2019, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was fatally shot in the parking lot outside the Sunnight Lounge on Maryville Pike around 2:40 a.m. Nahimana was taken by ambulance to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
