On October 26, 2020, 34-year-old Jeremiah Coleman was found dead inside a motel room at the Days Inn on Asheville Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee. Coleman, who was originally from Detroit, Michigan, had been shot and pronounced dead at the scene. The Knoxville Police Department responded to the scene and determined that Coleman's death was the result of a gunshot wound.
