Kendale Garner, an 18-year-old African American male from Knoxville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on March 12, 2015. Kendale was the youngest of three brothers and was known for his vibrant personality and aspirations for a better future. He was walking to his grandmother's apartment with his brother Demetrius Holmes when a group of individuals approached them, leading to a confrontation.
