Christopher Waters, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically died on December 9, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a beloved music teacher at Belle Forest Community School and was known for his passion for teaching and his vibrant personality. Waters was killed during a home invasion, which was later determined to be Memphis' 214th homicide of that year.
