John Beers, a 49-year-old male, was fatally shot on January 18, 2017, in his Nashville, TN home. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when an unidentified gunman entered Beers' residence on Chesapeake Drive and shot him during a confrontation. Beers was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
