Jonathan Anthony Holmes, a 28-year-old student at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina, was last seen on March 7, 1997. He was on his way to Charleston to pick up his mother and sister but never arrived. Later that evening, his black 1986 Ford Explorer was found completely burned near the Jedburg exit off I-26 in Dorchester County, approximately 90 miles from Columbia.
