Herman J. Caldwell, a 32-year-old man from Columbia, South Carolina, was last seen on March 1, 1982. That day, he withdrew $500 from his bank account, which was the last known activity on the account. Caldwell was reportedly driving his black and gray 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix with South Carolina plates (GOK 105) and may have been headed to Charleston, but neither he nor his vehicle has been seen since.
