In the early autumn of 1997, a trip to celebrate a joyous occasion took a tragic and mysterious turn for Male Antoine Jones. He and his brother had traveled from their home in Greensboro, North Carolina, to Richland County, South Carolina, to attend the baptism of a friend's child. They checked into the Quality Inn on Horseshoe Drive on September 19, 1997, but shortly after, the 29-year-old Jones vanished.
