In the early hours of August 27, 2023, a shooting occurred on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard near the I-65 entrance ramp in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident involved a stolen Honda Pilot SUV driven by 24-year-old Diandre Starks. Officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) responded to the scene around 1:50 a.m. Upon arrival, they found the SUV ablaze and managed to pull Starks from the vehicle.
