In the early morning hours of Friday, June 19, 2015, the life of 23-year-old Fidel Stem was tragically cut short in Nashville, Tennessee. The events of that night began to unfold around 1:30 a.m. when Stem went to a residence at 1600 23rd Avenue, looking for a girl he had been dating. An argument ensued with the young woman's mother when it was discovered the girl was not home.
After the mother went back inside her house, she heard the sound of gunshots and witnessed Stem running down the street.
Responding to a report of shots fired, police officers arrived at the scene but were unable to locate anyone involved in the incident at that time. It wasn't until several hours later, at approximately 6:30 a.m., that the grim discovery was made. A man walking to his vehicle found Fidel Stem's body partially underneath his pickup truck. Stem had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had succumbed to his injuries.
Despite the initial investigation, the case of Fidel Stem's murder grew cold. As of now, there have been no arrests made in connection with his death, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The Nashville Police Department continues to seek information from the public regarding the unsolved homicide of Fidel Stem.
