Jerell M. Bland, a 20-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2017. He was fatally shot near a convenience store in South Memphis while walking to meet a friend. Bland was on a Facetime call with a friend when he was ambushed by an unknown assailant. Despite his attempts to flee, he was shot multiple times and succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital.
