In Memphis, Tennessee, on May 28, 2019, the lives of 18-year-old Jarico Cooper and his 32-year-old uncle, Demarco Foote, were tragically cut short. The two Black males were discovered shot to death inside a home in the Raleigh neighborhood, a devastating scene that marked another instance of gun violence in the city.
