In the spring of 2018, the life of 23-year-old Perry Glenn Lotts Jr., a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Elkton, Maryland. On the evening of April 21st, a dispute that began over a pickup basketball game near Fletchwood Community Park escalated into deadly violence. Gunshots rang out, leaving three individuals wounded. Lotts was rushed to Union Hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
