On the afternoon of August 31, 2017, tragedy befell 18-year-old Tommy Johnson in his Memphis, Tennessee, residence. The young man, a student at Southwest Tennessee Community College, was found in a bedroom of the house on Cherry Road, having been shot multiple times. The incident was the result of a robbery that turned fatal, cutting short a promising future.
