On July 28, 2023, 23-year-old Mark Thomas Jr. was fatally shot at the Grahamwood Place Apartments in the 4000 block of Summer Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. Responding officers found Thomas lying face down in the parking lot; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported that Thomas had been conversing with 22-year-old Don Jackson shortly before the incident. As Thomas walked away, Jackson allegedly drew a firearm from his waistband and shot Thomas multiple times in the back. ...Read More
