Maurice Horton, a 74-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically passed away on March 20, 2017. He was shot on March 17, 2017, in the 2500 block of Hanwood in North Memphis. Horton was visiting his 82-year-old friend, Roosevelt Hodge, when the incident occurred. Hodge mistakenly shot Horton, thinking he was someone else. Horton was taken to Regional One Medical Center in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries three days later.
