Death by Force

Cory Fields, a 22-year-old Black male, was fatally shot just after midnight on June 9, 2025, during a party at a short-term rental in East Memphis. Officers were called to the 5000 block of Flamingo Road around 12:20–12:30 a.m. and found Fields in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he later died. Some memorial and obituary listings identify him as Corey M. Fields II, confirming his age and date of death in Memphis.
