Demetrius Conklin, a 22-year-old male from Memphis, TN, tragically died on May 10, 2016. According to police reports, Conklin was shot after two groups exchanged gunfire in the 2900 block of Mimosa in Binghamton. He was driven to a home in the 3000 block of Johnson Avenue and later taken to the Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, Memphis police arrested three men in connection with three separate homicides that occurred earlier that month.
