On a cold December evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 28-year-old Marquez Jackson-Brazier was tragically cut short. On Friday, December 14, 2018, at approximately 9 p.m., officers from the Tillman Station of the Memphis Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Omar Robinson Street and Heard Avenue in the Douglass neighborhood following reports of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
